From 1991, a 750 cc was added in the form of the SS 750 to offer a wider range of to meet the needs of the market. The engine is almost the same as the SS 900 but equipped with a 750 cc engine. The revised SuperSports garnered immediate success and became wildly popular. Even though the 1991 SuperSport was extremely well developed, Ducati would continue to refine the bike over the years. From 1991 to 1997 the model was called 750 SS and was available with full (SS or called \u201cCarenata\u201d) or half fairing (SS\/CR or called \u201cNuda\u201d). (Production total in 1997: 1,146 pieces).. The air-cooled engine has a capacity of 748 CC. Furthermore, the four-stroke V-Twin Cylinder SOHC Desmodronic engine is equipped with two valves per cylinder. The power of 66 HP (48.5 kW) is delivered at 8,500 rpm. The torque is set at 72 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine had a dry weight of 176 Kg and (before that time) already achieved a top speed of approximately 200 Km\/hr. The transmission takes place via a 5-speed gearbox that drives the rear wheel via a chain. For the rest, the bike is equipped with the Marzocchi Upside-Down front fork often used by Ducati and a double disc brake at the front and a single disc brake at the rear. This 1997 model is one of the last series from 1997 and can be recognized by the streamline (fairing) that has been changed. More air vents have been added to the full fairing and the Ducati stickers (Graphics) have now been enlarged over the entire fairing, which gives the bike a new look after having been unchanged for several years. The engine is almost entirely in original condition as it was performed at the time and (technically) well maintained. However, the original exhausts have been replaced by BOS mufflers for a deeper sound, which brings out the real heavy Ducati sound. Over the years, the motorcycle has been used very little given its age, which is also easy to read in view of the very low mileage of approximately 11,400 km in the overall condition of the motorcycle. This Ducati SuperSport is an original Dutch delivered motorcycle which still has the original Dutch issued registration number. Just like the Ducati 600 SS, the Ducati 750 SS SuperSport is not scarce and is also regularly offered. A (technically) well-maintained original with a very low mileage of approx. 11,000 km is not offered on the market every day and you will not find it anymore.
