Documentation

The car runs well and is in very good and original condition. The car drives and shifts well. It has a new German TUV inspection and is valid until 2023. The car has a very good paintwork and is a real eye catcher. The car is also completely original on the inside. The car has a roof that can be slide open.
Transporter is the name for a van from the German car manufacturer Volkswagen, known internally as Typ 2 (the Volkswagen Beetle was internally called Typ 1). Since 1990, with the arrival of the T4 variant, Transporter has also been registered as a name. Over the years, various nicknames have been used for the various models, with VW-Bus being the commonly used.
Six generations have now been marketed under the name Typ 2, from T1 to T6. So, contrary to popular belief, type 2 is not synonymous with a T2 bus.

The Typ 2 is the second model produced by the post-war Volkswagen; previously the company only manufactured the Volkswagen Beetle. Production started in 1950. In the 1960s and 1970s, the Typ 2 became a popular hippie van, mainly because it offered plenty of space for people and food.
