The name UAZ comes from Ulyanovski Avtomobilny Zavod (Automotive Factory Ulyanovsk), which was founded in 1941 for the Soviet army. A number of satisfied UAZ Hunter owners are now driving around Europe with their exclusive and robust 4X4. A few UAZ Hunters have also been registered in the Netherlands and there is a real UAZ dealer in the east of the Netherlands. This car is new and has only driven 19 KM.
