Documentation

This 1971 TR6 was initially exported directly to the USA, just like many other English sports cars at the time. That is why the car is also left-hand drive and equipped with the 2 reliable carburettors instead of the Lucas injection system. In 1988 the car returned to Europe, to the Netherlands. Recently the then owner saw “his” car again and was pleasantly surprised to see that the car is still in such good condition. The previous owner, whose current owner recently bought the car, has owned it for a long time and has taken good care of it. Due to his advanced age, he has decided to sell the car to the current owner. The car has its original details, such as: seats, door trim and the beautiful wooden dashboard including the radio. Everything is in a neat condition. Besides the interior, the bodywork is also very good. Not only the body but also the chassis. The body has been professionally repainted and the paint is therefore in good condition. The wheels have the original rims and the large American tires. In addition to the cover, which can be used when the TR6 is opened, there is also a tonneau. Both the convertible top, the cover and the tonneau are in good condition. In September, the current owner made a big tour through Europe without any problem and drove a rally over the passes of the Pyrenees. The new aluminum radiator, in combination with the electronically controlled radiator fan, has contributed to the driving pleasure at high temperatures and the technical demands of mountain driving.
