This Triumph TR250 was delivered new in the United States and was first registered in 1968 in Washington State. This example came to the Netherlands almost 30 years ago in completely original condition and comes from the first owner who owned the car until 1987. Then the Triumph was “forgotten” for 30 years until a new owner took possession of the car a few years ago. He decided to keep the car as original as possible. After looking at the car, it turned out that the base was so solid that bringing the technology to life and repainting the car would suffice to achieve a uniquely authentic result. It is a very authentic example with a new coat of paint and in 'ready to go' condition. The six-in-line engine was completely overhauled, all components that had to be replaced have been replaced, including a new stainless steel exhaust. All work was recently carried out by a Dutch Triumph specialist, no expense was spared, judging by the invoices of over €9,000 (only for the technology). The paint is in very good condition, the interior is still partly original and in very good condition for the age of the car. The sheet metal is beautifully original.
