In 1978, the four car brands Lancia, Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Saab entered into an agreement to jointly develop a new platform for the upper middle class segment. In 1984, the Lancia Thema and the Saab 9000 were the first results of this so-called Tipo Quattro platform. This Saab 9000i was originally delivered in the Netherlands in 1991. The 2.3L four-cylinder delivers 150 hp and is linked to a manual five-speed gearbox. The Saab generally looks in neat condition, with signs of wear appropriate to its age.
