This Rover 3500 SD1 is one of the first rovers to come off the line after the SD1 was introduced. Intended for the Swedish market, the headlights were fitted with windshield wipers and a remote-controlled parking heater was fitted at the factory. The only owner who drove this car probably had the experience of previous robbers that rust could still occur. Thanks to this experience, he has made improvements to the drainage in various places and made additional sealing where necessary. No rust is therefore (in)visible. This must be the most original Rover 3500 SD1 with less than 40,000 original kilometers and first paint. Of course, traces of use can be seen, but the minimal use in particular is unmistakably recognizable in the interior. A new battery and recently overhauled radiator (by Bijl Haarlem) has been fitted. Recently serviced and carburettors adjusted. Much documentation has been preserved and together with the original stainless steel exterior mirrors and the remote control for the parking heater, this SD1 is complete.
