Documentation

This Silver Shadow DHC (drophead covertible) was delivered in 1969 in America Newyork. The difference with the later Corniche is that the Silver Shadow was built by hand by coachbuilder HJ Mulliner Park Ward in London, so no factory production. You will also only find the beautiful chrome bumpers on the Silver Shadow. In total, about 500 copies were delivered, about half of which are left-hand drive, which makes it considerably rarer than the Corniche. The car comes with a book with a lot of history, including the complete history from the American early days. The car came to the Netherlands in 1998 and was fully restored here. Some imperfections are of course inevitable after 22 years, such as the small hairline cracks in the welded parts. The car shows no rust anywhere and the paint still shines beautifully. The car has always had one owner after import. So now more than 22 years and the car has always worked well, for example always starts, the electrically operated roof and all windows also function and the car has always been stored conditioned. The car has of course the hydraulic height system patented by Citroën, which of course works. The last major service was done two years ago with many new brake parts replaced. Now the car had to go for MOT again and the owner decided after 22 years to give the car a new owner because too little use is made of it. Only 250 miles have been driven since the last MOT 2 years ago. To get a good idea of the car, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
