A Renault Gordini is a rare sight. At the time, only a small 9,000 were produced, of which very few are left now. This is a professionally restored Renault Gordini, which has been completely rebuilt and restored by a Swedish Gordini specialist. The car has driven less than 1,200 km after this restoration. In order to race with the Renault 8 at the time, racer and tuner Gordini developed the Renault 8 Gordini 1100 (type 1134) in 1964, recognizable at the front with only larger headlights, followed in 1965 by the R8 Gordini 1300 (type 1135) with a 103 hp engine, which allowed a top speed of 175 km/h and was fitted with a modified front with four headlights.
