In 1976 Porsche introduced the 924 platform with water-cooled front engine, designed by the well-known Dutch designer Harm Lagaay. Over a period of almost 20 years, Porsche has continued to develop this platform, eventually reaching the 968, produced from 1991-1995, via the 944. This ultimate evolution was completely modernized from a technical point of view, but the original design of Lagaay can still be recognized in the appearance. Of the 968, only 12,776 units were produced. This Porsche 968 was originally delivered in the Netherlands in 1993 by Pon and is finished in the special color Amethyst Metallic with a dark gray leather interior. This car also has the popular manual gearbox. Both the exterior and the interior generally look good. The Porsche is in a neat and driving condition.
