This Porsche 928 seems "just" one of the more than 60,000 produced units of this type. However, nothing could be further from the truth. This example was built in 1977 and rolled off the production line in November. The very first numbers are missing the flashing lights in the fenders just behind the front wheels, which makes this car UNIQUE. As Harm Lagaaij had come up with the design, this 928 came out of production. The previous owner converted the car to GTS specification, which explains, among other things, the right exterior mirror. The current owner has been busy converting back to 1977 specs in recent years, but has stopped doing this due to time constraints. The car is almost complete and attached photos of parts complete this. The car has recently (October 2020) been driven but now starts badly. Timing belt and water pump were of course replaced prior to this ride. And yes, the car has been provided with new paint and there is already at least 1000 hours of work in it but it needs to be phased out and further brought back to original specification. There is a new windscreen with freshly powder coated window frames. In short, a great opportunity for someone who is handy and wants to own and drive a unique, stable Porsche 928.
