Documentation
The Porsche 356, also known as the 356 Pre A, was Porsche's first production car. The car was produced from 1948 to 1965. In that time 1,362 convertible versions were made. There are very few of these left today and that makes this model a unique and special appearance. The Porsche 356 Pre A Convertible offered here left the factory on November 24, 1953. Delivery to the first buyer took place on May 24 by Porsche dealer Hoffman in New York. The car was imported to the Netherlands some time ago. The car was originally delivered in Mode Grau. At the moment the car is equipped with a later produced engine block, but what is special is that the original block with the correct Matching Number is included. There is a Kardex on which all numbers can be seen. To get a good idea of the lot, we advise you to come to the viewing day.
