This Toronado is a first owner car, which came to the Netherlands in August 2018 from Nevada in the USA. The car is in a good condition in terms of body. It has never been welded and it is rock solid. As far as technology is concerned, the Toronado has the well-known complaint that the electric antenna does not retract/extend and the fuel gauge falters/doesn't work. Furthermore, there is a leakage current somewhere that will drain the battery unless the battery terminal is disconnected. The handbrake, which is operated with the foot pedal, remains stuck. The battery is secured with a canvas strap, which officially belongs with clamps. The air conditioning does not work / not filled / no belt to pulley. Besides this, the Toronado does have a protect-o-plate and an org. 8 track player on board with about 30 original cassettes in 2 cases. An instruction booklet and various original notes are included. The Toronado is a front wheel drive car. The first series built in the USA. The tires are new, as are the battery and starter motor. It has electric side windows and an electric front seat, a tilt steering wheel with horn in the steering edge and steering gear (3 speed aut.).
