Documentation
The Mini is a small car, which was produced in its original version between 1959 and 2000. It was a revolutionary and characterful little car designed for the British Motor Corporation by Alec Issigonis and made in Birmingham. In this car, innovative techniques for the time were used, such as a transverse motor and front-wheel drive, a concept that is often used nowadays. The Mini was available with engines of 850, 1000 and 1275 cc. From 1964 to 1971, the Minis had a hydraulic suspension system designed by Alex Moulton with the name 'hydrolastic'. Then, mainly for cost consideration, they went back to the original rubber elements for the suspension. This 1981 model has a 1000cc engine, and looks beautiful both inside and out.
