This MG VA was delivered in 1938 as a rolling chassis, which coachbuilder Tickford then fitted with a Drophead Coupé body. The MG was restored 11 years ago and has not driven much since then. The supplied original gearbox has been replaced by a five-speed gearbox and the car is equipped with electric power steering. What is special is that the original tool set from 1938 is still (almost) complete. The original hydraulic pump under the driver's seat operates a built-in jacking system. The original cream paint color matches the mudguards and the brown soft top, which, together with the brown leather interior, is in good condition. The woodwork looks neat and the dashboard is a true work of art, with beautiful large Jaeger gauges.
