In 1989 Mercedes introduced the new generation Sport Leicht and was upgraded in 1995. An upgrade that was largely optical, technically there was little to improve. In 1995 the Imperium red 600 SL was delivered in the States, for a modest converted amount of 400,000 guilders(!). ABS, ESP, Airbags, ADS, automatic hood, roll bar, electric seats and of course not to forget; a thick 6 liter with 12 burners under the hood that sounds like the average F1 Williams of the time under load. In 6 seconds to 100 km/h with an anything but modest 394 hp and 570 Nm of torque. This car comes from the third owner and has largely, according to Carfax, driven with its first owner in Miami, Florida. In all likelihood, the first miles have largely been Ocean Drive.
