Documentation

This 220SE is part of the W111 series, an S-class predecessor that was in the showroom between 1959 and 1968. The successor to the 'pontoon' soon got its own nickname: 'Heckflosse', thanks to the characteristic 'fins' on the back. In addition to the W111, the model included the four-cylinder variants with the code W110, and the top version 300SE, which was known as W112. The six-cylinder variant, like the current S-class, appeared as a sedan, convertible and coupé.

The latter is of course the car shown here. In good Mercedes-Benz tradition, it's a so-called 'hardtop coupé, a two-door without a real B-pillar. This means that all side windows can open, after which a gigantic 'hole' is created on both sides. At the time of this Benz, that was not unusual, but today Mercedes is the only known brand that still uses this design. The car in the pictures is powered by a 2.2 six-in-line with 120 hp and looks neat.
The car has a green color and a beige interior.

The 220 SE is a convertible with green roof. The roof is in very good condition. The interior is also in very good condition. it has no cranks. The dashboard is partly made of wood and partly made of leather. It is also in very good condition. The exterior of the car is also in very good condition. The paint has no cranks and it looks like new. The car stands on 4 very nice white wall tires.
