Documentation

This is the absolute top model from the Santana 109 Series III Station wagon line-up from 1975. The Santana Series 3 109S Especial cost no less than 360,000 Peseta for options, which was more than many Land Rovers. Land Rover and Santana had a partnership since the late 1960s. That lasted until the early 1980s because Santana became a bit too successful thanks to the collaboration. Where Land Rover was okay with a model once it hit the market, Santana continued to aggressively make minor improvements to ensure that its customers were served the best possible way. That did not reflect very well on Land Rover and so the relationship cooled down quite a bit. . This concerns the beloved but rare Land Rover Santana 109 Series 3 Especial, the absolute top model that even offers space for 10 people in this configuration. The car has only driven 79,398 kilometers. The body and paint have signs of wear that match the age of the car. However, thanks to the warm southern Spanish climate, the chassis is completely free of rust, the doors have some rust on the bottom. The interior is in neat used condition. The technology is also well taken care of. The car has never actually been used for heavy terrain work, but often for more than a gravel driveway of a beautiful Spanish villa. The engine is practically indestructible and delivers a lot of torque at the bottom of the rev range. The transmission and brakes function as they should. That the Santana has always been perfectly maintained is apparent from the available documentation. The entire history has been perfectly kept and preserved from day one. In short, whether you want a long weekend with almost the entire football team, have a huge family or are just looking for the best “Four by Four by Far”, this is the perfect candidate. To get a good idea of the car, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
