Documentation

This Jaguar Mark V Saloon is in a neat, driving condition. It was originally delivered on June 2, 1949 at distributor Henlys in London. Both the interior and exterior look good overall. It drives smoothly and the engine runs well. Shifting and brakes work as they should for a car of this age. At the end of the 90s, the car was body-off restored, but it is still representative. Many photos of this restoration are available. Only 10,499 units of the Mark V were produced, of which only a limited number are left today. The Mark V offered here is number 47. The car has a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate. The car has recently had extensive maintenance. The following activities were carried out, for which invoices are available: Disassembly and assembly of 4 brake drums – Overhaul of 4 brake cylinders front brakes, service and adjustment of wheel brake cylinders – Service and adjustment of the brakes rear axle – Changing brake fluid, testing and dismantling the brake system – Renewing fuel filler hose, production missing knee piece – Adjustment steering box spelling – Overhaul ignition and check and adjustment set carburetors – Cleaning contact points alternator control unit – Renew set of spark plugs.service ignition – Renew starter solenoid. To get a good idea of the car, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
