Documentation

This Jaguar series 1 4.2 liter is quite a rare unfinished project. The car was distributed by Jaguar Cars New York in February 1967 to the dealer: John Tune Import Motors Inc., 1314 Broadway, Nashville 3 Tennessee. This dealer delivered the car to the first owner: Mr. Bernard V.Bourgeois in Tennesssee. The car at the time showed a beautiful color combination of Opalescent Dark Green over a Suede Green interior. In the car, several original parts still have the original color. The car needs a total restoration, as can be seen in the photos. However, almost no parts are missing. The car has the following features: - body fairly solid with some rust and holes in several typical E-Type places. -chrome parts in reasonably good condition and suitable for rechroming. – (Almost) period correct E-Type engine and full synchro gearbox (axle between box and differential is missing) engine does not run but does turn. -GRP/ polyester “racy” hood. – revised wiper motor. -Sports exhaust. -original fin plate and body tag. -new subframes. -Car comes with Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate and original Jaguar factory warranty card with first purchaser details. -Tenessee USA Registration Document/Title. -EU import document, all taxes/duties are paid upon import. To get a good idea of the car, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
