Documentation
Goggomobil was the name of a series of dwarf cars produced between 1955 and 1969 by Hans Glas GmbH in the Bavarian town of Dingolfing.
The Goggomobil T250 was introduced by Glas at the 1954 IFMA International Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition. The T250 was a conventional looking two-door sedan with a rear-mounted 245 cc air-cooled two-cylinder two-stroke engine. The wheel suspension was independent all around with coil springs and swing axles.
In 1957 some changes were made to the T250. Two wipers were fitted in place of the previous single wiper and the sliding windows in the doors were replaced with windows with a pivot mechanism. At that time the T300 and T400 also became available, these had larger engines of 300 and 400 cc respectively.
The last change to the sedan took place in 1964 when the so-called suicide doors were replaced with conventional front-hinged doors. When production ended on June 30, 1969, 214,313 sedans had been built.
The car is just in perfect condition. It has a beautiful red color with a whit roof. It's just like new. In the car there is place for just 2 people. And everything is very small. The interior of the interior of the car is also in very good condition and has no cranks in the leather. The dashboard is made of metal, but the seats are made of cloth and leather.
