Documentation
The Ford model TT is the truck variant of the well-known T-Ford, also known as Tin Lizzie. Various adjustments were required to accommodate the weight of the cargo. The TT has a 45 cm longer wheelbase and a reinforced rear axle. All this to be able to take the 1,000 kg of cargo with you. The engine is a 4-cylinder petrol engine with a capacity of 2,900 cc, which produces 20 hp. The car has 2 forward and 1 reverse gears. The maximum speed is about 60 km/h. Between 1909 and 1927, more than 15 million Model T Fords were produced. Of these, there were about 1.5 million TT Fords. Ford delivered the TT-Ford to Europe without a body, so only the chassis. The body of the TT-Ford was made in Huy (Belgium) by the Labor company. The user history of the first 50 years is, as yet, unknown. In 1970 the car was parked in a living room in Brussels (Molenbeek). There the car has experienced 2 removals. In 2020, the new resident did not feel like a parked old-timer in his living room and sold the car to a Dutch dealer where the current owner got the car from. He has restored the car in the past 1.5 years, making the car as original as possible and roadworthy. To get a good impression of the car, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
