Documentation

This is a very well-maintained 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. The car has been in the possession of Jeannette Chilson, who lives in sun-drenched California in the United States, since 1981. The car is equipped with the 289 cu (4.7 liter) V8 engine mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. The engine runs neatly and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly, as it should. The mustang is finished in white paint with a white hood and a black interior. The body is in very good condition and completely free of rust with correct fits. The bodywork clearly shows that the car has lived in the warm California climate. Mustangs from the north often don't look so nice at this age. The paint is in neat condition but does have a spot here and there. The hood is in neat used condition and fits nicely everywhere. The underside of the car is obviously rock hard. The interior was recently reupholstered with black carpets and period correct black vinyl upholstery with images of the signature Mustang horse on the backrest. The trunk has not been reupholstered. Due to the lack of new (glued) carpet, it is immediately apparent that there is absolutely no hidden rust present here either! The chrome on the car is in good condition. The Mustang is also equipped with a beautiful three-spoke wooden steering wheel and an electrically operated hood. In short, a very nice 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible that you can enjoy for many years to come or a car that you can quickly take to a much higher level with a few simple "finishing touches". To get a good idea of the car, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
