Documentation

This Daimler Double Six VandenPlas was originally delivered in Switzerland in 1985 and imported into the Netherlands by the management of Jagpoint BV. The car has always been maintained by Jagpoint, the data, in addition to the data from the Swiss period, can be found in the enclosed file. In the Netherlands, the car was sold to an older Daimlers enthusiast. For a number of years this has exclusively made club rides. The car has been maintained by Jagpoint during those years. The current owner bought the car there in 2019. The Daimler was painted in the traditional color Westminster Blue. The paint is in good condition. The piping has been renewed this year. The doors close well and all rubbers are in good condition. The leather Conolly “Oat” upholstery, the recently renewed headliner, the reading lamps at the rear seats and the woodwork are in good condition. All instruments work, as well as the air conditioning and heating, the electric windows and the electric sunroof. The car has always been stored in a garage by the current owner and maintained at Jagpoint. Maintenance is carried out every winter. For example, the central wiring harness for the ignition has been replaced, all spark plugs and the spark plug cables. The car was inspected by a garage last year before it went into winter storage for any weak spots or rust on the underside of the body. The verdict was very positive. The car was MOT approved in April until 09-03-2023. To get a good idea of the car, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
