The Citroën Type A Torpedo is the first Citroën ever released. It was designed by Jules Salomon on behalf of André Citroën and marketed by Citroën between May 1919 and the end of 1921. The Citroën Type A Torpedo became a success in Europe. It was a reliable, solid car and therefore more "reliable" than many of its competitors at the time. Only after a few thousand kilometers was a visit to the garage for maintenance necessary. Today there are very few cars of this model left. The Citroën offered here is even more special because it is in a neat and driving condition. This is a car over 100 years old! The car has won prizes at the National Oldtimerdag Lelystad in the past.
