When in 1974 the then well-selling SM was no longer allowed to be sold in the USA due to new bumper impact rules, Citroën had a problem. They had already built cars for that market, but they were no longer allowed to deliver. The car offered here is one of the 134 cars that were then delivered to Japan. A rare example that has now come back to Europe. The car has only traveled a few hundred kilometers in the last 15 years. Both the exterior and interior have various imperfections. Apparently the body is hard. The car is in motion and the chassis functions. It is advised to check the car before taking part in traffic.
