Documentation
On October 7, 1948, the 2cv, the A-type, is shown to the world. The A has an air-cooled 2-cylinder 4-stroke overhead valve petrol engine, with 375 cc displacement. The basis of this engine remained the same until the end of production, only a little more power would be extracted each time. The A was still a 9hp. The engine is recognizable by the open cooling fins on the cylinders. The A can be recognized externally by the circle around the chevrons on the ribbed hood. The AZ will be released in September of this year, with a significantly faster and stronger engine by then standards: 12 hp and 425 cc. The AZ offered here, also called Ribbed Duck, is in a neat and driving condition. Both the exterior and interior generally look neat. The car is free of road tax and MOT.
