The Advance-Design is a series of light and medium trucks from Chevrolet, their first major redesign after World War II. The GMC counterpart was the GMC New Design. It was announced as a larger, stronger and slimmer design compared to the earlier AK series. These trucks were first available on Saturday, June 28, 1947, and were sold over the years with various minor changes until March 25, 1955, when the Task Force Series trucks replaced the Advance-Design model. The same basic design family was used for all trucks, including the Suburban, panel wagons, canopy express and cabovers. From 1947 to 1955, Chevrolet trucks were number one in sales in the United States. This Chevrolet is in a neat and driving condition. It has a 6 cylinder with manual transmission.
