Documentation

The BMW Z8 (E52) is a two-door roadster produced by the German car brand BMW and designed by a team of designers led by Chris Bangle, of which Henrik Fisker is the most famous. The supercar is the production model of the BMW Z07, which came out as a concept car in 1997. The Z8 was introduced at the 1999 Frankfurt Motor Show and was made from April 2000 to July 2003. The designers of the Z07, who presented the car at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show, were inspired by the BMW 507, a popular but rare sports car of the 1950s. Because the Z07 received very good comments, BMW decided to produce the car almost unchanged, but with a different name. It is a rare appearance because only 5,703 were produced. The Z8 only came out with a 4.9L V8 petrol engine producing 400 hp (294 kW) along with a six-speed manual transmission. This engine was built by BMW Motorsport and was also used in the E39 M5. It accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. It has a limited top speed of 250 km/h, but unlimited it could go 300 km/h. It brakes from 100 km/h to 0 km/h in 2.5 seconds. The Z8 offered here is in a very neat and good driving condition. Both the interior, the exterior and the supplied Hard Top (with stand and cover) look good. It appears that the very low odometer reading is original. The car was imported from the US a few years ago. The attached invoice shows that the car has been modified for European regulations for €11,867.30. Since the purchase by the current owner, the car has hardly been driven. Booklets will be added and it has a valid MOT until 23-09-2023. It also has other original details such as a tool kit and a first aid kit. To get a good impression of the car, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
