Documentation
This Bentley MK VI with chassis number B355GT is a special lightweight 4-door saloon from HJ Mulliner & Co. Their design number is 7243 and the body number is 5203. A light alloy is used for both the body frame and sheet metal, which reduces weight compared to previous HJ Mulliner designs. A high-performance luxury vehicle was offered. This is the first car built and a total of 41 of these designs were built on the MK6 chassis. One of the unique features of this car is the parking lights on the front wings. Standard lightweight production models had these on top of the Wings like the standard steel models. This particular car was first owned by HJ Mulliner & Co (June 1950) as a demonstration car, registration WMC84, and is the car of the Earls Court International Motor Exhibition Show of October 1950. The London Motor Show, held at Earls Court, was the most important international car show in the world. Registration in September 1951 by the first private owner JS Young with registration MVS804. Original gray in colour, the car was later repainted and upholstered in the color scheme it still has. To get a good idea of the car, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
